Show the whole route
Take photos from the street through the gate and along the driveway to the intended position. Include bends, slopes, overhead branches and services. Tell us if the route crosses soft ground or changes after rain.
Allow for unloading
The container footprint is only part of the picture. The truck needs a suitable approach, room to turn and room to unload. Send photos of the road, gate, driveway and placement area. Flag slopes, soft ground, branches and overhead services so the transport team can assess the job.
Different vehicles need different working space. Ask the transport team to assess the actual plan instead of relying on a universal gate width or unloading-distance rule.
Prepare the position
Think about drainage, door direction and access once the container is down. Seek appropriate advice about ground preparation, supports and anchoring. Do not improvise a support arrangement from a generic diagram.
