FAQs
Can you tell me the cost of a new or used shipping container?
To get information about the new, used, or any other type of shipping container that we at Dan’s Shipping Containers offer, get in touch with us and tell us your requirements such as the size, and we will provide you with pricing details.
Do your shipping containers come in a variety of colours?
Of course, they do. Our shipping containers come in various colours, and you can choose the one that you like to meet your needs.
How do you deliver the purchased shipping containers?
We use three main procedures for delivering shipping containers. These include using the tilt-tray delivery for our 20ft containers. These trucks reverse up to the delivery area and slide the container by tilting the tray on the back. This is a convenient and economic delivery option. However, for the delivery of 40ft shipping containers, we use the side loading method where trucks use a crane to pick up the container and position it at the driver’s side. For confined spaces, we use HIAB trucks to deliver the containers.
Is site preparation required for container delivery?
You might have to prepare the site to make the container delivery process easier for our drivers. Also, before the delivery, you will need to inform us regarding the direction in which you want the container doors to be. However, if you are not familiar, our staff can help you determine the direction to make things easier for you. Also, you need to make sure that you have a level surface where the container will be placed. In general, your container needs to be placed on pavers. Also, make sure that there is sufficient safe access for the drivers to deliver your container without facing complications.
What are the shipping containers made up of?
All the containers that we at Dan’s Shipping Containers provide are made up of high quality Corten steel. They are highly durable and resilient.
Are your shipping containers ideal for overseas shipping?
Of course, they are. The products that we deliver are perfect for international shipping. If you opt for our new build shipping containers, you can ship them for the first 5 years after they are manufactured. After this, you will need to get them recertified. In fact, some of the used shipping containers that we offer can also be used for international shipping.
What container should I buy?
If you require a consultation regarding the container that will best meet your needs, you should get in touch with us.
